Vermont Institute of Natural Science - Nature Center
VINS Nature Center in Quechee includes 17 raptor exhibits that house
hawks, eagles, vultures, falcons, owls, and ravens. The center also has
a nature shop, a classroom, nature trails, and a behind-the-scenes
animal support facility. Leading from a trailhead at the raptor
exhibits around the 47-acre mixed habitat site to the Ottaquechee
River. The trails connect with adjacent State Park trails leading to
the Quechee Gorge. |
Veterans Administration Hospital
Located just across Route 5 from the hotel, this regional VA Hospital offers complete medical services.
Quechee Gorge Enjoy
the view from the bridge over the "grand canyon" of Vermont, then make
a stop at a gift, craft, or antique stores or the Simon Pearce
Glassworks and renowned restaurant. Nearby is the Quechee Lakes

Killington Ski Area
New England's premier ski destination - 7 mountains - 200 trails
covering 87 miles - 31 lifts. Killington is also a wonderful spring,
